I posted this on my Facebook page (and personal page as well) and Instagram wall today and wanted to make sure I shared it on this blog too. The catalyst for this came to me after multiple conversations with friends and colleagues. Plus, the Four Keys is one sutra I always go back to. Do you agree? If so, share this post and let’s support and uplift one another. It’s that easy!
Here’s a thought for your Friday, maybe it’s pertinent to you, maybe it’s not…you decide. It’s been tickling the back of my mind all week. I will never understand why people, women in particular, are not more supportive of one another. Instead of lifting each other up and supporting one another, actions become shrouded in jealousy, manipulation, competition, criticism, shaming, blame and fear. All of this becomes an energy suck for ourselves and those around us, which leads to all kinds of other issues. Choosing to simply BE HAPPY for someone is much easier on the spirit. Go on, give it a try…I dare you. Patanjali teaches in yoga sutra 1.33 to be friendly to those that are happy, have compassion for those that are unhappy, delight in the virtuous and disregard the wicked. These four keys will keep your mind at peace. Sounds good to me. It’s time we stop holding each other down and instead, rise to the occasion of supporting and loving one another. #rantover #choosehappy #uplift #beafriendnotanenemy #happiness #support #selflove #benice #behappy
