This is one of my favorite sequences. It is more active and great for the whole body, so those without tummy concerns can benefit too. Go slow and move at your own pace. Remember to keep the breath slow and steady. Stretch the hips, open the chest and twist the body in order to stimulate digestion and keep things moving in the right direction.
With a sensitive gut like mine, it’s hard to find fruits that I can easily digest. That’s why I love bananas. They are my go-to morning staple. Bananas are packed with fiber and potassium, both of which are essential to happy gut functioning.

That’s why I’ve come up with a great strategy to enjoy the offerings, but still keep my stress levels low and my gut thankful for a little yoga-aided digestion.
Let’s be honest, the holidays are stressful enough without adding the additional discomfort of digestive issues. Over indulgence of food and drink (and dare I say, friends and family) can lead to gas, bloating, constipation, and so much more. Who can be grateful when your bowels are that unhappy?
